What We Do AIR provides the full spectrum of air quality services including source emissions testing, permitting, regulatory compliance consulting and training, indoor air quality testing, and OSHA-type worker exposure testing. Our personnel are highly experienced and conduct testing utilizing EPA promulgated, conditional, and alternative methodologies as well as those published by OSHA, NIOSH, NCASI, and ASTM.

AIR’s permitting assistance capabilities range from state-level permit modifications to federally enforceable Title V applications. Our permit engineers are familiar with many of the states’ various permitting procedures which provides for an efficient process by which our clients’ facilities can obtain their operating permits in timely manner.

Further, AIR offers indoor air quality (IAQ) and OSHA-type worker exposure testing. We can assist with identifying the root-cause of poor IAQ and quantify exposure levels to potentially harmful substances. What We Do Scroll

Our studies allow building maintenance and management personnel to identify problem areas in need of remediation or increased ventilation and implement worker respirator programs, as applicable.

We are experienced in sampling and analysis – via techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gas chromatography (GC) – all regulated pollutants, including criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants, and volatile organic compounds (partial list below).

to identify potential causes of poor IAQ typically
in commercial or office building spaces; quantify
worker exposure levels to potentially harmful airborne
materials at manufacturing facilities. AIR’s laboratory is currently accredited for stack testing and select sample analysis through the Louisiana Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (LELAP).

We are in the process of upgrading our accreditation status to NELAP. Additionally, as is applicable under 40 CFR Part 75 Appendix A Section 6.1.2(b)(2), AIR ‘self-certifies’ that its quality system conforms to the ASTM D 7036-4 standard.

Finally, each of AIR’s field technicians are either currently Qualified Stack Testing Individuals (QSTI) or are in AIR’s training program with the goal of becoming QSTI certified.
