Career

Ms. Stapper comes to AIR with over 30 years of environmental compliance experience. She has a BA in Zoology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Texas. She began her career at Radian Corporation’s Austin office where she served as a corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME) for air regulatory compliance in the forest products industry. She left consulting in 2010 to work for Temple-Inland (TIN) as the Corporate Environmental Manager (Air) and then landed with Georgia-Pacific (GP) as part of GP’s acquisition of TIN. For seven years she was a Regional Environmental Manager at GP, where she worked closely with numerous plants to help them maintain compliance and served as an advisor and mentor to site environmental staff. She has also been a key contributor to corporate programs that were implemented to ensure compliance and provide consistency across facilities. During her career, she has also served on numerous trade association regulatory and technical committees and has left her fingerprints on numerous current regulations. At AIR, Ms. Stapper is responsible for developing value-added strategies through a collaborative process that will enable AIR clients to more effectively and efficiently, manage their compliance demonstration programs while promoting sustainable and profitable operations.  She will be an active participant in industry trade groups as a way of providing greater visibility for AIR’s expanding suite of services, and she will provide clients with regulatory updates relevant for their operations.
